Join us for the Fourth Annual NACIS Fun Run and Walk!

Does a full day of talks make you épuisé? Camme toé*! And what better way to relax than with a nice run or stroll around your host city? There's lots of history and culture to see in Montreal, and we'll whiz by it all on foot. So come join us and move your fesses so you can justify that extra helping of poutine you'll indulge in tomorrow.

This year's run and walk will visit two very different parts of the city. The (maximum) 6.4 km/4 mile walk will explore Old Montreal, including the waterfront Parc Lineaire de la Commune and Parc du bassin Bonsecours, the Place Jacques-Cartier, and City Hall. Don't feel like trekking the whole loop? Jump on the Metro at Champ de Mars or stop for a bite in Chinatown before taking the return train from Place d'Armes. For the more physically adventurous, the 9.2 km/5.7 mile run will head gently uphill through the McGill University campus and wind around the forested Olmstead Path to the chalet and vista atop Montreal's namesake hill, Mont Royal, before descending 256 steps and Rue Peel back to the hotel.
